Mini Pump

There are many things that are nice to have for cycling, but there are also some things that are must haves — a pump is one of them.

A pump is obviously crucial to get something out of your bike. If you haven't got air in your tire, you will obviously not be able to ride your bike (at least not safely).
The only dilemma comes when you got to choose the right pump. There are Floor Pumps and mini pumps, but in this post I am going to cover the mini pump.

A mini pump is as the name says - mini. That means that you can take it with you on a ride without it taking to much space in your jersey pocket.
It is a must have if you should puncture. What is the point of taking spare tubes with you when you haven't got a pump.
It actually happened to me one time. I managed to puncture the tire, I got the spare tubes the tire leavers and my pump, oh,...no pump. Good I had my phone with me!

If I should go out and buy a pump I would have chosen a mini pump instead of a floor pump for a couple of reasons;

- it is smaller
- it is lighter
- It gives you what you need - in terms of air in your tube:)
- It does not cost as much as a floor pump

As always, have a nice ride ;)
